Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly at the email below if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data upon deletion.

SlabIQ lets you scan trading cards, identify them using AI-assisted computer vision, view estimated values and market comparables, and manage a collection, inventory, and related records. We continually improve the Service and may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Card identifications, prices, valuations, comparables, grades, and related information are provided for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are generated in part by automated systems and third-party data sources and are not appraisals, financial advice, or guarantees of authenticity, condition, grade, or resale value. You are solely responsible for any buying, selling, or other decisions you make. Do your own due diligence before transacting.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that violates the rights of others.
• Misrepresent cards, transactions, or your identity when using the Service.

You retain ownership of the images and information you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and use Your Content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including sending images to our AI/computer-vision providers for card identification as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by SlabIQ and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights. Trading-card names, set names, and grading-company names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only; their use does not imply endorsement.

The Service relies on third parties (such as authentication, hosting, AI processing, and card-catalog/data providers) and may display content from them. We are not responsible for third-party services or the accuracy of third-party content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any valuation or identification will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlabIQ and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlabIQ and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SlabIQ is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
